St Elizabeth’s has a reputation for offering quality, second-hand books at very affordable prices. Craftwork, morning tea, home-made savoury food, cakes and biscuits are also available.
Harvest Festival – Sunday 12.10.25 at 9:30 am
A celebration of all the good things in God's provision. In this springtime event, we’ll gather produce to then distribute to local schools and others in need.
Patronal Festival – Sunday 16.11.25 at 9:30 am
St Elizabeth, princess of Hungary, gave away her wealth, devoting her life to the poor. It made her an enduring symbol of Christian charity, of which she is a patron saint. She joined the third order of St. Francis. At Marburg, she built a hospice for the poor and sick, to whose service she devoted her life.
Christmas Services – Eve 5:00 pm – Day 9:30 am
The Christmas services at St Elizabeth’s bring a diversity of music. Traditional carols (organ) as well as carols in bluegrass and gospel blues settings. There’s even a Christmas comedy sketch. Join the celebration, Wednesday the 24th at 5:00 pm and Thursday the 25th at 9:30 am.
Ash Wednesday – February 18th at 10.00 am
Join us as we begin the journey of the forty days of Lent. During the service we’ll discover from the book of Joel that seeking repentance occurs not only on a personal level but also on a communal, national and even global level.
St Elizabeth’s Fete – March 14th 2026
St Elizabeth’s annual Fete (held in March) is a highly anticipated event recognised for the quality offerings of books, plants and home-made produce. Enjoy tea and coffee in the courtyard and take in the relaxed friendly atmosphere.
Lenten Studies – Beginning Wednesday February 25th at 1.00 pm
The Apostle Peter reminds us all of the importance of sharing our faith; of sharing the wonderful hope that we have in Jesus. In our world today there is a great need for this hope. These six studies aim to help us reach out to those who are lost amongst the uncertainties, hurt, and brokenness of this world, to offer this thing that only our faith in Jesus can offer – hope. Join us on Wednesdays at 1.00 pm on the 25th of February, then the 4th, 11th ,18th and 25th of March, concluding on the 1st of April.
Holy Week and Easter Day – April 2026
Journey from Holy Week to Easter Day at St Elizabeth’s with a range of worship services including religious art, poetry and music, all designed to help reflect on the sacrifice of the cross and the triumph of the resurrection.
