Meditation – Meets weekly

The Meditation group is led by Deb Ryan. She’s been studying the art of meditation and the benefits of spirituality for more than a decade. The group is conducted in a way that makes it easy for new comers to experience the peace and calm that meditation can facilitate. Take time out to meditate on Thursdays at 1:30 pm.

Community Garden – Meets weekly

The St Elizabeth’s community garden has a series of raised garden beds making it a user-friendly space to enjoy gardening. The group enjoys the rhythms of growing seasonal vegetables and sharing the produce. Join in, Tuesday mornings from 9:00 am.

Mothers Union – Meets monthly

Mothers Union is a mission agency of the Anglican Church of Australia, and part of the worldwide Mothers’ Union with links to 83 countries and over four million members, who share one heartfelt vision – to bring about a world where God’s love is shown through loving, respectful and flourishing relationships. Mother’s Union meets on the second Thursday of the month at 10:00 am.

Home Groups – Meet monthly

St Elizabeth’s has several home groups. They are centred around hospitality, building relationships, and studying a book together. A great place to ask real life questions and get to know people.

Ukulele Group – Meets weekly

Learn how to play the ukulele in a relaxed atmosphere with other adult students and a qualified music teacher. You’ll be playing three-chord songs before you know it. Beginners are welcome. Join in, Monday afternoons at 1:30 pm.

Friends Coffee Club – Meets monthly

Friends of St Elizabeth’s is an ‘open’ group that meets for social fellowship, and to provide support for aspects of church life. Become a friend. The group meets for coffee on the third Thursday of the month at the Marion Sports and Social Club at 10:00 am.

Pastoral Care Group – Meets monthly

The pastoral care group monitors and attends to the welfare of people in the parish. The group meets on the third Monday of the month at 10:30 am.

Men’s Group – Meets weekly

The Men’s group attends to the maintenance needs of the Parish buildings and gardens. A Men’s breakfast is held on an occasional basis. Men’s group gathers on Tuesday morning from 9:00 am.
